Privacy Choices
Ownway gives you direct controls for permissions and stored information. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Open Ownway → Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my data. This deletes your anonymous Ownway identity and associated server records, then clears local trip history and saved places. It does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Open Ownway → Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear trip history to remove recent and saved trips from this device without deleting your anonymous identity.
Open Ownway → Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear saved places, or edit each address in the Saved Places section.
Open iOS Settings → Apps → Ownway. You can change permissions at any time. Disabling a permission may make the related feature unavailable.
Cancel the active Waze Companion trip in Ownway or disable background location in iOS Settings. Ownway uses background location only to detect arrival during an active companion trip.
Use iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting Ownway data or removing the App does not cancel a subscription.
Email dvainsolutions@gmail.com with the subject “Ownway privacy request.” We may need enough information to understand and verify the request. Rights and exceptions vary by location.
No sale or targeted advertising opt-out is needed
Ownway does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party advertising trackers. If those practices change, we will update this page and provide any controls required by law.
